I’m not sure the year, finish, or model of the kit we used in Sweden. I do know that it’s the same kit that was used on tracks like Eternally pt: 2 on Karmakanic’s “Who´s the boss in the factory” and on The Flower King’s Sum of no reason from “Sum of no evil”.

Fun Fact: The hi hat stand was a little shoddy, and actually opened up and locked the hi hat cymbals about 4 inches apart from each other while tracking The Triangular Race Through Space. You can first hear it splash open at about 2:22 during the first mellotron chorus hits. Hence why you don’t hear the hi hat stomps for the rest of the section of that song. I had to remember to close it more than normal if I ever wanted to hit them.

Knowing that, you can totally hear me forgetting to close them while tracking at 3:34. We left it all in because we thought it added a bit more to the hectic feel of the song.
