1. How much influence did Jonas Reingold and Roine Stolt have on the An Endless Sporadic album, other than the engineering? Did they contribute any alterations of the songs you had already written at home?

They definitely had a lot of influences ranging everywhere from chord progression, arrangement, tempo, key changes, fills, and overall sound. It’s very important to work with people who are great at their craft, and know how to put on their different hats whenever needed (engineer hat, composer hat, bassist hat, friend hat etc). Many riffs stayed the exact same since before Sweden, some riffs got a key change, some sections got rearranged, extended, shortened, or even cut completely. It’s hard to point out specifics down to each color on the album, but we do know that it was Jonas’s idea to put the mellotron hits in TTRTS. Most of the music was outlined before we got into the studio. Between Jonas’s great abilities as a bassist and having Roine help us get the best performance out of what we set out to do, we got exactly what we wanted…
